Kroma Partner Landscape

October 12, 2026 · Prepared by Butterfly Studios

Six platforms could carry Kroma further than DTC alone: one is a credible acquirer, five are channels that make Kroma more valuable to any future partner. Each summary below links to a full deep dive.

NOBULL

NOBULL has said in public that it is building a one-stop wellness brand across apparel, nutrition, recovery, self-care and media. Nine months after launching NOBULL Nutrition, its shelf is protein and electrolytes. Kroma is the reset, ritual and functional-food layer that shelf is missing, with the customer NOBULL is reaching for and does not yet have. Mike Repole's pattern is to bring a founder-led brand into the group and keep the founder as an owner; he did it with NOBULL itself and with Tom Brady's TB12. Impact Capital, his private equity desk, is where this conversation would be structured, and Anderson has a lane into it.

Proposed path: a co-branded Reset bundle on nobullproject.com for one quarter, then Impact Capital leading Kroma's next round if it sells, with a TB12-style combination as the destination if Lisa wants it.

03

Alo

Alo is the closest brand register to Kroma anywhere in the category, and it is already selling Kroma's category without Kroma's product. Its Sanctuary stores run cafes stocking third-party juice, matcha and kombucha; it launched gel-shot supplements in 2023 and called ingestibles a future category; and in January 2026 its free Alo Wellness Club shipped a 7-Day Reset Ritual with nutrition programming and no food in the box. Alo is founder-owned by Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge, has never taken outside capital or acquired a brand, and is selling its wholesale T-shirt business in a move analysts read as IPO or sale preparation.

Proposed path: Kroma's Reset as the kit inside the Reset Ritual and Kroma products at Sanctuary cafes, then an exclusive co-branded line; ownership only if nutrition becomes part of Alo's listing story.

04

Vuori

Vuori is Kroma's neighbor: headquartered in Encinitas, ten miles from Del Mar, profitable since 2017, valued at $5.5B, with more than 100 owned stores and a founder, Joe Kudla, who wants to build a San Diego wellness ecosystem the way Nike built Oregon. Its biggest revenue cohort is $250–500K households and its female "Suburb Chic" segment is Kroma's buyer. Its wellness activity is experiential (free ACTV Club classes, Pvolve sessions with smoothies in San Diego and Carlsbad, a SoHo wellness market in August 2026) and it has no food, drink or supplement of its own. Kudla has said Vuori is staying focused on apparel, and it has never acquired a company.

Proposed path: Kroma as the nutrition partner at every Vuori wellness event in Southern California, then a wellness shelf in stores and online; a conversation that starts founder to founder, locally.

05

Lululemon

Lululemon is the largest audience in the category: 22 million members and a Partner Perks program that already hands them offers from AG1, Erewhon and Sweetgreen. A new CEO, Heidi O'Neill, started September 8, 2026 with a mandate to restore product innovation and cultural relevance after a year in which the stock halved, Americas comps fell 12%, and an activist and the founder forced board changes. Its only consumables history is a Chicago restaurant and a co-created adaptogenic drink; its only acquisition, Mirror, was written off. The membership team has said wellbeing is a top guest priority.

Proposed path: a Partner Perks listing for the Reset and a Sweat Collective trainer offer, then a Lululemon-exclusive SKU for its Experiential Studios. Reach at this scale costs no equity; it does mean operating inside a public company's partner terms.

06

Equinox

Equinox has already built the program Kroma belongs in and left the food out. Its $40,000-a-year Optimize longevity membership pairs Function Health biomarker panels with a nutrition coach and has a 1,000-person waitlist; its EQX ARC women's health program covers hormones, fertility and perimenopause; its May 2026 Women's Health Advisory Board names nutrition as a core tenet; and its online Shop carries 93 third-party nutrition SKUs. None of it has a branded food protocol. Equinox is leveraged and owned by real-estate and private-equity investors who sell assets rather than buy brands, so it is a program and retail partner, with La Costa twenty minutes from Del Mar.

Proposed path: a Shop listing and a four-club Southern California pilot, then Kroma as the nutrition protocol inside Optimize and EQX ARC with Function Health panels recording outcomes, and hotel placement behind it.

Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins is a distribution force with a longevity thesis and a hunger mission, and all three have a Kroma-shaped gap. He co-founded Lifeforce, a precision-health membership that prescribes GLP-1s and hormone therapy and sells its own nutraceuticals but no food; he co-founded Fountain Life, a longevity clinic chain with $10,500-to-$21,500 memberships; his free 10-Day Pure Energy Challenge is a reset with no kit; and his Feeding America commitment, now in its second billion meals, gives any food brand a meal-per-order mechanic. His pattern is equity in exchange for endorsement, in products he personally uses. His audience skews male and performance-driven, which is the audience Kroma does not have. The 2019 allegations, which he denied, are the first thing to settle with Kroma's investors before any public association.

Proposed path: a Reset and GLP-1 companion bundle for Lifeforce members and event attendees with a Feeding America match, then a co-branded reset through his free challenge funnel; equity-for-endorsement only on disclosure terms Lisa is comfortable defending.

How these fit together

NOBULL is the one relationship that can end in ownership on founder-aligned terms; the other five are channels. Every one of them values the same two things Kroma builds next: a retail presence and a documented repeat-purchase run rate. Any of the five channel partnerships supplies both, which raises Kroma's value to NOBULL and strengthens Kroma's position if it chooses to stay independent.

The partnerships are not mutually exclusive, and the first step with each is light: a placement, a perk, a pilot, a bundle. The natural pairing is one Southern California neighbor (Vuori or Alo) for retail presence and one program partner (Equinox or Lifeforce) for clinical evidence, running alongside the NOBULL conversation.

What Lisa decides first:

  1. Partner, capital, or exit, and on what horizon.
  2. Which two or three of these she wants opened in the next quarter, and in what order.
  3. Whether Anderson opens the NOBULL conversation with Impact Capital on her behalf.
  4. Kroma's current revenue, repeat rate and gross margin, so every sizing frame in the deep dives becomes real.
